Salvador Pérez Diaz (born May 10, 1990) is a Major League Baseball catcher for the Kansas City Royals.
Pérez was called up to the majors for the first time on August 10, 2011.[1] On August 29, Salvador Pérez hit his first major league home run against Max Scherzer of the Tigers. In that game, Pérez was a triple away from hitting the cycle.
